The Rembrandt house repositioned their brand. The focus shifted to the house as a former practice for art education. They kicked off the new branding with the exhibition: Rembrandt’s late student. An exhibition that looked at art from an historic perspective placed to modern times by referring to the current practices of art education. The museum wanted to show the teaching methods Rembrandt wielded and the relationship he had with his students. Strengthening the positioning as a knowledge centre of the life and work of Rembrandt. The Rembrandt House asked Level V to create a social video to promote the exhibition. Goal: Draw attention to the exhibition, arouse interest and stimulate sales.
Keeping in mind that the exhibition covered both the Golden Era and modern times, Level V translated that concept into an animation. An animation that combines Golden era art with modern techniques. Using classical music to accentuate the history aspects. With a light sense humor the voice-over tells the story of Rembrandt as a Master painter and teacher.
